Shipping, Refunds, and Replacement Policy

At Atelier//Shibani, we value our customers and strive to ensure satisfaction with every purchase. Please read the following policy carefully to understand the terms of shipping, refunds, replacements, and cancellations. By purchasing our products, you agree to the terms set forth below.

1. Shipping Policy  

1.1 Domestic Shipping  

1.1.1 Art Products:  

For original artwork or custom pieces, we will personally coordinate with you to ensure appropriate timelines for delivery. Due to the nature of these unique products, delivery times may vary, but we will communicate all necessary details regarding your purchase.  

1.1.2 Art Shop Products and Art Prints:  

At Atelier//Shibani, we believe in small-batch production and sustainable shipping practices. We do not pre-order in large quantities to avoid wastage. Consequently, our processing time for orders is typically 4-5 business days, after which they will be shipped. Delivery time will depend on your location and pin code, and tracking details will be provided once your order is dispatched.  

1.1.3 Shipping Charges (Pan-India):  

● Orders above Rs. 1,500: Free Shipping  

● Orders below Rs. 1,500: Rs. 150  

● We do not offer COD at this time  

1.1.4 Sustainable Shipping:  

We aim to ship responsibly, focusing on eco-friendly packaging and mindful shipping practices. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we prioritize sustainability over expedited shipping.

1.2 International Shipping  

International shipping services will be available soon. If you are interested in purchasing from outside India, please send us an email at theteam@ateliershibani.com and we will get back to you to understand how best to serve you.

2. Returns and Replacements Policy  

2.1 Eligibility for Returns and Replacements  

We accept returns and replacements only if the product received is defective or damaged. We strongly urge all customers to double-check all product parameters before purchasing. Atelier//Shibani will always provide accurate product details, including size, to help you visualize how the product will fit into your space.  

To be eligible for a return or replacement, the product must be in its original, unused condition with all original packaging intact.

2.2 Reporting a Damaged or Defective Product  

2.2.1 Timeframe:  

If you receive a damaged or defective product, you must notify us via email at theteam@ateliershibani.com within 24-48 hours of receiving the product. Any claims for returns or exchanges made after this period will not be accepted.  

2.2.2 Required Information:  

To process your return or exchange, please provide the following information:  

● Order number  

● Photographs clearly showing the damage or defect  

● A brief description of the issue  

Our quality control team will review your claim. Upon approval, we will offer either a replacement or, in certain circumstances, a refund.

2.3 Returning Sets:  

If the product received is part of a set, the entire set must be returned for an exchange or refund. Please ensure that all items in the set remain intact, and follow the steps outlined in Section 2.2 to report the damage.

3. Refund Policy  

3.1 Conditions for Refunds  

Refunds will only be issued in the following circumstances:  

● The product is damaged or defective, and a replacement is not available.  

● You have complied with the terms outlined in Section 2 of this policy.  

Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of receiving the returned product, subject to an internal inspection to verify the defect or damage. The amount will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

3.2 Non-Refundable Items  

Please note that the following items are not eligible for refunds:  

● Products that are not defective or damaged.  

● Products that have been used or altered by the customer.  

● Customized or commissioned artwork.

4. Cancellation Policy  

Atelier//Shibani does not accept cancellation requests once an order has been placed. We encourage all customers to review their order details carefully before completing a purchase.

5. Changes to Order Information  

If you need to make changes to your order (e.g., shipping address, contact information), please contact us immediately at theteam@ateliershibani.com. Changes can only be accommodated if your order has not yet been processed for shipping.

6. Liability and Disclaimer  

6.1 Delayed Shipments:  

Atelier//Shibani is not liable for any delays in shipping caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or carrier-related issues.  

6.2 Shipping Damage:  

We take great care in packaging all of our products. However, Atelier//Shibani is not responsible for any damage caused during transit by third-party carriers. In such cases, we will work with you to resolve the issue based on the carrier’s damage policies.

7. Governing Law  

This Shipping, Refunds, and Replacement Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
